Power Run

You can watch the video tutorial on how to make Power runs

Heating

Before testing it will be necessary to warm up the engine and the entire transmission train to reach a stable working temperature. Tires increase their pressure at higher temperatures and at higher tire pressures, there will be fewer losses.

Temperature greatly influences power, so it is important to always work at stabilized engine and tire temperatures.

Perform the test

  1. Take the engine below the initial RPM that we loaded in Test Data form. In cars, we suggest around 200 or 300 RPM less. On motorcycles we recommend at least 1000 RPM less.
  2. To start, press the pushbutton or the space bar which has the same function.
  3. After pressing wait a couple of seconds and then throttle up the engine to full throttle.
  4. The system will start recording data after passing the initial RPM.
  5. The test ends when the motor reaches the final RPM or you press the button again to stop the recording manually. If the test is being carried out with losses, it will not end but will enter the LOSSES mode. The test will finish when the RPM drops back down to the initial RPM.

View the results

To view the results, go to the menus Graphs or Report.

New Test

REMOTE CONTROL

At the end of the test, it is possible to enter the Graphs or Report screens by pressing the remote control pushbutton again. The successive presses of the pushbutton will change the screens until returning to the Test Data form and the system will be ready to carry out a new test.

To retest press the New button and load the data you want to change and repeat these steps.
