Add Temperature Sensor

To add an NTC type temperature sensor, simply add it from the Accudyno system's list of preloaded calibration curves.

Procedure

Calibration is done in the OptionsConfiguration menu. Then go to the list of Signals in Calibration.

Look for the signal that corresponds to the channel where you have connected the temperature sensor. Then drop down the Signal Type from the list and select the NTC Sensor type.

It is not necessary to change the calibrarion values, since the system will take the calibration values from the internal table.

Calibration Curve

At the moment, the system only has one pre-loaded calibration curve for automotive NTC sensors of the MD-24757 type and similar. They are 1K sensors at 25ºC. Should you need us to incorporate other popular calibration curves, please contact us and send us the calibration data.

Then you will have to add the channel in the Channels section. There we will designate the signal from where we are reading the signal, the name of the channel, unit and optionally decimal digits and range for changing the colors of the instruments.

Then press OK. Then you will be able to load the channel in the instrument panel, with right click Assign... and select the channel of the sensor that we have created.
